Here are some of the properties Claire has sold and inspired dramatic changes for the new owners.

68 Nichols Road, Cohasset

Before

After

68 Nichols Road is a wonderful waterfront location in private setting. The best views were from the former pool. The home had an unusual layout without a family room and bedrooms on several levels. Claire helped her customers visualize a renovation that would and add a family room and new luxurious master bedroom where the pool had been and afford them an outstanding view of Little Harbor and the ocean beyond.

New orientation now takes advantage of the lovely view which can now be seen from the family room and master bedroom where the pool once was.

17 Summer Street, Cohasset

Before

17 Summer Street was an outdated New England Farmhouse in a great location. Extensive renovations created a lovely Queen Anne detailed porch , added and enlarged bedrooms and square footage. The overall effect is charming and full of curb appeal.

80 A Nichols Road, Cohasset

Before

After

This 1850's New England Farmhouse was nicely located across the street from Cohasset Harbor. It offered lovely views of the activities of the harbor with extended vistas to the ocean and was wantonly in need of a complete renovation. There are occasions when a renovation or update is not sufficient, nor appropriate for a variety of reasons. In this case the old foundation would never support the extent of the renovations the new owner had in mind. With professional assistance and months of work this prime location will be graced by a new shingle styled home for a growing family.

80A Nichpls Road, Cohasset

This cape styled home existed in this prime neighborhood location directly on Little Harbor with wide vistas of the ocean. The street side of the home was a dormerless cape and the waterside revealed three levels along a sloping landscape. The top floor was essentially an attic with low ceilings and quite inappropriate for the new 'tall' owners. It was thought at time of purchase that raising the ceilings on the first floor as well as the attic would work well. An architect provided the guidance they needed and a fine builder carried out the design. This home has a beautiful barrel ceiling in the Living Room and the outside wall is curved. Overall, it now has its own distinct look and suits the new owners very nicely.
