Claire wins Best in Show at the
South Shore Arts Festival

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage is proud to announce that Claire B. Watts, sales associate with the Cohasset office, has been awarded two prizes at the South Shore Art Center’s annual Arts Festival.  As a member and student of the South Shore Art Center for many years she has enjoyed the benefits of a fine gallery and exceptional teachers. Claire submitted 2 botanical water color paintings and a quilt into the juried show at the recent Festival and to her delight learned one of her watercolors won a prize but was ecstatic to learn her quilt won “Best in Show”.

Claire was interviewed by the Boston Globe about her quilting and found it challenging to explain how a quilt is made from its design concept to implementation without a personal demonstration.  She expressed liking the challenge of creating and that it helps her achieve balance with her work as a Realtor. Her creative background, she explained, has been useful in many instances in her work in Real Estate.  As a realtor, patience combined with details and stitching them all together is what she likes to do when putting customers and clients together as she has done successfully for over 31 years.
